Welcome to Deddington Church of England Primary School

Deddington Church of England Primary School has a long history and tradition as part of Deddington. Many of the parents of today's students also studied here and think so highly of it that they send their sons and daughters to us.

We are a one form entry school organised into 7 class groups. Our school is set in lovely open grounds and provides a safe and secure learning environment. Our caring and nurturing framework, supported by close links with the Church, develops, encourages and celebrates each child. Our 'family ethos' ensures everyone in our community is valued and respected as an individual and as an equal.

The world is changing at a very fast pace so our forward thinking approach ensures children develop a range of skills, both academic and personal. At Deddington we believe that enjoyment should be valued as highly as achievement. Our pupils are surrounded by a rich engaging curriculum which installs a life-long love of learning. High quality teaching and learning prepares children for the future challenges they will face. Through the development of curiosity and independence in an inclusive setting, our children are supported in achieving their personal best.

As a team, we celebrate, maintain and develop upon the many achievements already realised by Deddington Primary School. As Headteacher, I share the vision of 'getting better at getting better' as we continuously develop and improve the overall provision for pupils and parents at Deddington.  As a community that achieves together and works together we are a happy and successful school.
